Introducing a Brand New “Banking 101” Channel on Learn@IBF Mobile Learning App by OCBC Bank and Ngee Ann Polytechnic

The Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF), together with partners OCBC Bank and Ngee Ann Polytechnic, is pleased to announce an exciting initiative to educate newcomers to the ins and outs of Singapore’s vibrant, dynamic banking scene. A brand new “Banking 101” channel will debut in conjunction with the Singapore FinTech Festival on 11 November 2019.

Ngee Ann Poly, OCBC, and IBF have co-created a series of microlearning modules that touches on topics such as “What is Banking”, “Functions of Banking”, and “Banking Regulations”. These modules will provide a quick and easy introduction to the industry while offering interesting nuggets of information on principles and practices.

Learn@IBF is a content-rich platform that aims to provide bite-sized mobile learning suited for on-the-go finance professionals. It has been adopted by more than 60 financial institutions in Singapore, at a time when both bank and non-bank players are looking to leverage technology to transform existing value chains and jobs.

Powered by SmartUp.io, the Learn@IBF mobile app makes it possible for banking and financial professionals to access content around future-enabled skills anytime, anywhere.

As a token of appreciation for their support, the Diploma in Banking & Finance students and staff have been given free access to the content on Learn@IBF – which includes modules on Data Science, Human-Centred Design, Innovation, Risk & Governance, and more.

Learn@IBF is also complimentary to new IBF members from now till 2020. Find out how your organization can join IBF today here!
